I like gardening, whisky, gardening while drinking whisky, painting and writing about whisky, and combining those things into a blog (have you seen www.watercolourwhisky.com? You should check out www.watercolourwhisky.com!)

I also have some fairly substantial non-whisky interests including creative design, coding, narrative, various flavours of nerd, my hair, domestic politics, and trying (and often failing) to avoid eating cheap fried chicken.

I’m in the process of finishing a PhD that falls somewhere between cinema studies and organizational studies – an analysis of changes in organizational identity in the specialty film studio Fox Searchlight Pictures. It does not initiate romantic encounters as often as you’d think.

Born and raised in Sydney, I moved to the UK for the weather, and can often be found gazing dreamily at London’s grey skies.
